Step 1: Navigate to

• Checks
• Create Assets
• Click "Add New"

Step 2: Fill in the following details:

• Ref No * (Required)
• Choose Site * (Required)
• Location 1 * (Required)
• Location 2 * (Required)
• Category * (Required - Default categories available)
• Type * (Required - Default types available)
• Item * (Required - Default items available)
• Vendor
• Make * (Description of asset, e.g., Fire)
• Model * (Description of asset, e.g., Panel)
• Commission Date (Only used for items like fire extinguishers)
• End of Life (Only used for items like fire extinguishers)
• Tag # (Only required when NFC/QR is enabled; needs to match the tag number at that location)
• Enable NFC (If you need the user to scan an NFC tag)
• Enable QR (If you need the user to scan a QR code)
• Create Break Glass (Required only when adding break glass units)

Step 3: Click "Add Asset".

Important: Questions will appear when Category, Type, and Item are added. You can edit these questions to suit your specifications.

Standard Layout:

• Here you can add a layout image if you want a specific layout for this asset. Once added, when the user goes to that asset on the app, they can click the layout button and see this image.

Edit Questions:

• You have 2 options:
1. Edit by asset: Click "Go to question editing" and add the questions you want for this asset.
2. Edit by group: Go to "Manage Asset Questions by Group," select your site, and add the item you want to edit the questions for. Everytime you add an asset using this item, those questions will appear automatically.

Q: Why do I keep getting “Scanned code doesn’t match with any asset” on the app when I scan a tag?

A:Ensure the assigned tag number is correct, and ensure NFC/QR is enabled or the asset is associated with that task.

Q: How do I edit the questions?

A1: To edit questions for a specific asset: Go to the preferred asset and click "Go to question editing".

A2: To change questions by group: Go to "Manage Asset Questions by Group," choose your site, and item, and add questions.
