Follow these steps to replace a tag on the web app:

Step 1: When replacing a tag, make sure you:

  • Place the tag on a flat surface (e.g., door frame, painted surface).
  • Round Tag Users: DO NOT place the tag on a metal surface as this will deactivate the tag.
  • PVC Tags: Can be placed on any flat surface.

After you replace the tag, you MUST ensure the tag number corresponds with the number saved in our system for that asset.

Step 2:

  1. Log into the web portal (client.firecloud365.com).
  2. Click on Checks.
  3. Click on Create Assets.
  4. Edit the asset you would like to change.
  5. Change the number in the Tag # box.
  6. Make sure the Enable NFC box is ticked.
  7. Click Edit.

Note: There is no need to change the Ref Number, just the Tag number.
