Step 1: When replacing a tag, make sure you:
- Place the tag on a flat surface (e.g., door frame, painted surface).
- Round Tag Users: DO NOT place the tag on a metal surface as this will deactivate the tag.
- PVC Tags: Can be placed on any flat surface.
After you replace the tag, you MUST ensure the tag number corresponds with the number saved in our system for that asset.
Step 2:
- Log into the web portal (client.firecloud365.com).
- Click on Checks.
- Click on Create Assets.
- Edit the asset you would like to change.
- Change the number in the Tag # box.
- Make sure the Enable NFC box is ticked.
- Click Edit.
Note: There is no need to change the Ref Number, just the Tag number.

Q. Why do I keep getting “Scanned code doesn’t match with any asset” on the app when I scan a tag?

- Make sure the tag number assigned matches the tag number in the system.
- Ensure you have enabled NFC/QR.
- Verify that the asset is included in that task.
