Adding a Bell Check

Overview:

Bell Checks are typically completed weekly to ensure the alarm system is effective, fire doors close correctly, and lifts return to the correct floors.

Step 1: Fill in Required Info

  • Site (required): Select the site where the check will be conducted.
  • Carried Out By (required): Enter the name of the person or team carrying out the check.
  • Asset Initiating Check (required): Always choose Fire/Control Panel

Step 2: Check Type

  • Select the type of check:
    • One time
    • Daily
    • Weekly (typically chosen for Bell Checks)
    • Monthly
    • Quarterly
  • For weekly checks, set the start/end times, choose the day of the week, and specify how many days the check should be completed.

Step 3: Add Descriptions (required)

  • Provide a detailed description of the Bell Check.

Step 4: Add Questions

  • Include any additional questions related to the check as needed.


Step 5: Click Add Bell Check

  • Save the Bell Check.
    • Options After Adding a Bell Check:
      • Duplicate: Create a copy of the existing Bell Check.
      • Edit: Modify the details of the Bell Check.
      • Delete: Remove the Bell Check from the list.

    Adding a Fire Drill

    Overview:

    Fire Drills are usually conducted every 6 months to ensure all occupants know how to exit the building quickly and safely, and to confirm that the alarm is heard throughout the building.

    Step 1: Fill in Required Info

    • Site (required): Select the site where the drill will take place.
    • Carried Out By (required): Enter the name of the person or team responsible for the drill.
    • Asset Initiating Check (required): Always choose Fire/Control Panel.

    Step 2: Drill Schedule

    • Choose the Start Date/Time for the drill.
    • Choose the End Date/Time for the drill.

    Step 3: Add Descriptions (required)

    • Provide a detailed description of the Fire Drill.

    Step 4: Add Questions

    • Include any additional questions related to the drill as needed.

    Step 5: Click Fire Drill

  • Save the Fire Drill.
    • Options After Adding a Fire Drill:
      • Duplicate: Create a copy of the existing Fire Drill.
      • Edit: Modify the details of the Fire Drill.
      • Delete: Remove the Fire Drill from the list.
