When completing tasks in the FireCloud365 mobile app, your tasks and assets are uploaded (synced) to the server. The app displays different sync statuses so you can see whether your information has been successfully uploaded.
Status: Waiting for Network to Sync
This means the task or asset has been completed in the app but has not yet been uploaded to the server.
This typically happens when:
There is no Wi-Fi or mobile data connection
The device temporarily loses network signal
The data will remain safely stored in the app and will automatically sync once a connection becomes available.
Status: Syncing to Server
This means the app is currently uploading the task or asset data to the FireCloud365 server using the available internet connection.
Status: Synced to Server
This means the task or asset has successfully uploaded and the data is now stored securely on the server.
ℹ️ Important Notes
Without Wi-Fi or mobile data, tasks and assets cannot upload immediately.
The app will store the information locally and sync automatically once a connection is available.
Follow these steps to complete a task in the mobile app.
Open the app and select a task (for example, a Fire Walk).
Choose the Site.
Scan the Tag associated with the asset.
Answer each question by selecting Pass or Fail.
Tap Submit when all questions are complete.
The asset or task will display Done once it has synced to the server.
The asset or task will display Not Synced.
You will also see a new heading:
Waiting for Network to Sync
This will show the number of assets waiting to upload.
You can see the sync status in several places within the app:
Asset List Screen
Task List Screen
Home Screen
Once the device reconnects to the internet:
The app will automatically upload the stored data.
A message will appear confirming Successfully Synced.
Tasks and assets will update to show Done.
The Home Screen also displays syncing information, including:
Synchronized
Last Sync – showing the exact time of the most recent successful sync
